Life in good old Adelaide
Saturday, September 8th, 2007Havent posted anything for ages…I dont really like writing simply bcoz of laziness. Many things’d happened for the past 1.5 yrs. Of all things, the saddest will be the departure of my best shopping + eating + lepaking kaki FongFong 
(missing you heaps darling!!!) She gave up our beloved Adelaide for her love in WA. Nobody truly supported her in the making of this decision (except Baby A). But I do reckon that it’s not as bad as we thought in the begining. Life in Adelaide is too comfy, and we’ve all started to take things for granted. But there’re still a lot of other possibilities, adventures, experiences etc etc awaiting. So if I were her, I would probably make the same decision (that is only the case if I were her; as if I can give up my cibo cheese cake, gelati, dumpling king - and the list goes on and on…and shopping for a man!…hehe….I’m far too selfish to do that).
I’ve just bought a house!! Settlement was only yesterday. Cant believe that I’m now officially a member of the mortgage club.
Work is still the same. I went on strike earlier this yr to gain a pay rise. Suprisingly it worked, that’s why I’m still there. And how can I resist all those free 3 course dinners and interstate trips sponsored by either my boss or drug com? Hohohoho…(evil)
I missed the birth of my first nephew (as per usual coz I was in Aus). Not so happy with the name my bro gave him i.e. John…III~_~ "It’s not ‘loud’ and unique enough!" I told my bro. "But I really like John Travolta!" He said to me…III~_~…Luckily his chinese name sounds much more handsome. Hope he’ll grow up to be a heart-throb, but not as greesy as John Travolta…
